Jambu
Overview
Jambu is an application designed to help users discover music based on their emotions and mood. Users can create an account profile, where they can upload a picture for their profile and view created playlists and saved songs. Jambu will provide personalized guidance in the songs users listen to based on their specified mood, which can ultimately help improve their mood and health.

Process
Our team created a design system, before we started creating our wireframes and prototypes. As I designed the homepage, I aimed to create a user-friendly navigation experience. I included three cards that outlined the steps for using Jambu, followed by 3 cartoon images providing a brief explanation of Jambu's purpose and the significance behind our application. Additionally, I was responsible for creating the 'All Playlists' page, where users can access all their playlists and create new ones by clicking the gray 'Add' button. For the static playlists, I opted for emojis as icons to better represent the playlists and to also give it a cute touch (similair to the cartoons on the homepage and logo of our application).

Outcome
Throughout this process, we had to iterate and make some slight adjustments to our ideas, but we successfully followed through with our design process and implemented it into our application. Overall, the website is user-friendly, adorable, and enjoyable to use! Something I have learned from this and my past experiences in many group projects is that creating a design system beforehand really helps with consistency when designing as a team.
